The Victims Unit deliver endowments to the tables for the participation of victims of Nariño Pacific Coast
The Victims Unit and the Pan-American Development Foundation (PADF) provided electronic devices in order to strengthen care for the population of this area.
The Victims Unit, through a process of articulation with the Pan American Development Foundation (FUPAD), delivered technological elements to the legal entities such as technical secretaries of the victims' tables of the municipalities of Santa Bárbara, Francisco Pizarro, Mosquera, El Charco, La Tola, Olaya Herrera and soon Tumaco.
This delivery of elements such as a scanner, digital signature pad, videobeam, curtain and 10 tablets was carried out through the municipal plenaries, in which the entities virtually accompanied the participation tables.
William Pinzón Fernández, territorial director of the Victims Unit in Nariño, said that “this articulation with PADF is very important, through which we can contribute to the connectivity that is required in these times of pandemic, we know that these elements will allow the strengthening of the Public Ministry, streamlining the processes of attention to victims by taking online of the declarations and, in addition, guarantees of participation will be provided”.
For her part, María Victoria Campo Daza, Nariño Regional Coordinator of the PADF, indicated: “I thank the Victims Unit, William Pinzón as territorial director and his work team, for their commitment, effort and dedication in favor of the victims. In this time we have been able to work together because the interest in providing better opportunities to these coastal municipalities is demonstrated, and with this pandemic, it was urgent, complement the tools, strengthen the inputs to provide timely work”.
In addition, with the aim of giving continuity to this strengthening, Technical Assistance training will be carried out to fill out the Unified Report of the Territorial Information, Coordination and Monitoring system (RUSICST), which allows strengthening the institutional capacity of territorial entities through the dissemination of public policy, the identification of institutional shortcomings and the proposal and implementation of an improvement plan that allows it to progress gradually towards guaranteeing the rights of the victim population.
