Terpel contributes to the reparation of victims of conflict

The Colombian fuel distribution company decided, in coordination with the Victims Unit, to support reparation processes for people affected by the conflict, through some options that enable them to generate income.

The organization Terpel, leader in Colombia and other countries in the region in the distribution of fuels and petroleum products, began to work jointly with the Victims' Unit to help repair some people affected by armed conflict.

Nicolás Fernández de Soto, coordinator of International Cooperation of Unit, explained what this possibility is about: "We made an articulation with the Terpel Social Responsibility Office, through a program called Restoring Dreams, that is going to be done the employment relationship of victims in three specific points: collection centers, Altoque stores and service centers (gas stations) ".

The process has already begun and the selection of resumes is already under way: "We started with Santander and Córdoba, we are already doing the whole selection process with them and we hope that these people will be working very soon," the official added.

Terpel also support the victims of armed conflict with craft fairs, "Let's identify victims' organizations that are handmade, food or other ventures and we can take them to offer their products at fairs or collection centers where also they can open a space, "added Fernández de Soto.
