Cooperators announce investment for the Victim Assistance Center of Cúcuta
With international assistance, the process of attention to the population will be strengthened.
"Colombia Transforma" program of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) will make an economic investment for the improvement of facilities of the Regional Center for Victims in Cúcuta.
With a tour through the facilities of the headquarters located north of the city, in the sector known as Atalaya, representatives of the USAID program committed to allocate $ 20,000 to improve the conditioning of Regional Center that serves a daily significant number of victim population.
The director of the Victims Unit in Norte de Santander and Arauca, Alicia Rojas, thanked the international donation that will contribute to improve the conditions in the system of attention to the population victim of armed conflict and the officials. "We are going to make a donation in materials for the conditioning and locative improvements to the Regional Center for Victim Services that are required for the proper functioning of that property", said the official.
The City Hall of Cúcuta undertook to make an alliance with labor to present the diagnoses required in adaptation and preparation by the representatives of the international agency.
