Business course for victims and vulnerable entrepreneurial population began

With the support of Texmodas Foundation and Universidad del Rosario, 10 Santander victims who have ventures receive training to develop opportunities in times of crisis.

Texmodas Foundation and Universidad el Rosario started the course "Business for New Times", in order to help victims and vulnerable population to develop their business ideas and turn them into successful models in the midst of COVID-19 pandemic.

Within the framework of the letter of understanding in force with Texmodas Foundation, the Victims Unit has participated in the training course for entrepreneurs that this organization runs together with Universidad del Rosario.

The course includes five modules that give tools to entrepreneurs through theoretical and practical workshops so that they can develop skills and effective instruments to start their projects. For this reason, it addresses issues such as conscious growth, storytelling, ideation, structuring and implementation of innovative business ideas, adjusted to current reality. Those who complete this course will receive a training certificate, issued by Universidad del Rosario and Texmodas Fundación.

The totally virtual course began on October 19 and expects 30 hours of training, taught over seven business days, to achieve its objectives, for which it has the participation of experts in personal growth, María Alexandra Suárez; Business Opportunity, Raúl Sanabria; Marketing, Massimo Manzoni; Innovation, Rodrigo Barbagelata and Social Entrepreneurship, Julián Pedrero.

It is valid to highlight that through the articulation of International Cooperation Group and its strategy of relations with the private sector, and the Texmodas Foundation, a total of 10 scholarships were awarded to the Victims Unit for free training of Colombian victims of conflict, located in the department of Santander and that already have their ventures up and running.
