During the month of January 2020, the Territorial Meta and Llanos Orientales of the Victims Unit, has been making some changes in the provision of service to survivors of armed conflict, in the Regional Center for Victim Assistance in Villavicencio, to which has provided the provision of daily service to 80 people for the orientation process and 70 people for notifications.

This cap of people served was established in order to adequately and timely attend to those who come to advance any procedure before the Unit.

The territorial director of Meta and Llanos Orientales of the Victims Unit, Carlos Pardo Alezones, explained that this measure will be temporary, while reinforcing the care plan to be implemented in 2020, and invited all survivors to make use of the other communication channels available to the Unit, such as the call center 018000 911119 and the virtual service platforms, through the website www.unidadvictimas.gov.co and thus avoid trauma.

The official stressed that, despite the variation in the number of people receiving face-to-face care, the Villavicencio CRAV has not stopped responding to the requests of the victim population.
