Young victims of Guaviare agreed to the issuance of military cards
A workshop was held in this department so that male victims who reached their majority could define their military situation.
For two days, the Victims Unit through Meta and Llanos Orientales Territorial, together with the Guaviare Government and the 54th Military District of the National Army, carried out a special day of issuing military cards in order that young people between 18 and 28 years could define their military situation.
At the facilities of Alfonso López Pumarejo Educational Institution, in the city of San José del Guaviare, the interested victims converged, who received all the guidance regarding the current protocol to access this benefit to which they are entitled by law.
The requirements for these men to start the registration process are to present documents such as: copy of I.D., civil birth registration, copy of high school diploma if they have it, 3x4 photo with blue background and registration on the website www. libretamilitar.mil.co of the National Army.
The director of the Unit for Meta and Llanos Orientales, stressed that in order to access this benefit that is granted to victims and that is contemplated in Law 1448 of 2011, it is necessary that, upon reaching their majority, they carry out the updating of their identity documents in the Single Registry of Victims.
The goal of overtaking This type of conference is to expedite the processing of the military card for young people who have not been able to complete the procedure and especially the victim population.
