Women victims lead "micro-business route for peace" in Cúcuta
The coordinators of the activity conduct a census and collect data to organize the route and a fair, with links from several entities.

With the purpose of strengthening various productive units, women victims of violence in the area of the border with Venezuela seek support in commercial processes.
"We want to take a micro-entrepreneurial route for peace with women who make blouses and make footwear and bags. We are organizing a fair to expose the products and only women victims in Cúcuta who have microenterprises will participate", said Yajaira Mora, representative of this sector of the population.
The idea was exposed to the director of the territorial Victims Unit in Norte de Santander and Arauca, Alicia Rojas, who highlighted the work and effort that the women have made.
"We are committed to the victims and it is very gratifying to see how these women are an example of overcoming in a region still affected by violence", said the official.
With the integral reparation process, which has as one of its components the administrative compensation, the women victims of armed conflict, residents of Cúcuta, have been able to generate a source of income and subsistence.
The other measures of integral reparation: rehabilitation, restitution (land, housing, sources of income, education, health, access to credit), satisfaction and guarantees of non-repetition, depend on the National System of Integral Attention and Reparation for Victims SNARIV, integrated by more than 50 entities, among which is the Victims Unit.
