Through the agreement signed between the Victims Unit Santander Territorial and the FITEC Technological Institution, victims of conflict will be able to access different discounts on tuition and educational services.

The Santander Territorial Unit for Victims signed a letter of understanding with the FITEC Technological Institution, which will allow victims of conflict in the department to have access to discounts, educational offerings and advice on their own business projects.

With the signing of this agreement, the victims will be benefited with a 25% discount on tuition for technological careers, 20% in professional technical programs and 10% in specializations and technical work programs; all in virtual mode. In addition, the victim population that enters the institution will receive advice to generate their own income with business ideas.

"We want to welcome the victims to our institution, through this agreement our intention will be to contribute to the communities affected by the armed conflict in Santander", said Leonor Montero, spokeswoman for FITEC.

The Unit continues to carry out inter-institutional agreements with the public and private sectors so that victims continue to have access to higher, technical and technological education, as part of their comprehensive reparation.

"With this agreement we continue to serve the victims in the department, seeking educational offers for the entire population affected by the armed conflict in the department", said Gonzalo García, territorial director of the Unit in Santander.
