Victims of Meta receive offer and attention in the Week of Inclusion for Equity
The Victims Unit attends survivors of violence who are interested in enrolling in “Youth in Action” program and provides psychosocial guidance to beneficiaries with productive “My Business” projects and to mothers of children with physical disabilities.
In the Week of Inclusion for Equity that is held from Tuesday, October 15, until Friday, October 18, the national government seeks to make visible the policies and public offer in the different sectors.
In Villavicencio, the Victims Unit accompanies the Social Prosperity agenda focused especially on vulnerable young population, in order to guarantee their labor inclusion in favorable conditions.
“In Meta we have attended survivors of armed conflict in their enrollment process in the Social Prosperity program; Young people in action, who advance their studies at Universidad de los Llanos. Likewise, we will hold on October 18, talks aimed at families belonging to land restitution failures, with psychosocial support on motivation issues, and entrepreneurship aimed at 6 people over 65 years of age who benefit from My business productive projects, which supports the Vulnerable population interested in strengthening or starting small businesses that allow them to improve their living conditions with new or higher income”, said Miguel Avendaño Hernández, territorial director (e) Meta and Llanos Oriental.
Along this same line, pedagogical meetings will be held with the support of a unit psychosocial team to raise awareness of 25 mothers of children with disabilities on issues of inclusion and disability, belonging to the Families in Action program, who, in turn, they are victims of violence.
