Victims in La Macarena, Meta were benefited with a day of attention
These days lead the survivors of armed conflict to the routes of assistance, attention and reparation, fulfilling one of the entity objectives that is to bring the State closer to the victims to provide them with a relevant, effective and timely offer.
The Victims Unit held a day of attention to survivors of armed conflict residing in La Macarena, Meta.
"During the day, more than 100 people benefited through this exercise that took place in the facilities of municipal council. Our officials provided information, guidance, assistance and accompaniment to the victims of armed conflict residing in this municipality of Meta "said Carlos Pardo Alezones, territorial director of Unit for Meta and Llanos.
"The Unit's team documented and updated all the cases of victims who are processing with the entity to subsequently have effective access to the entire offer of the State provided by local governments, ie health, education and housing, among others. Likewise, so that the survivors of armed conflict in this area of the country can access and exercise their rights to truth, justice and reparation" concluded the director.
The Victims Unit with these journal days knows and assesses the real situation of each home victim of forced displacement and with it, accompanies families in access to different measures, programs and projects contemplated in Law 1448 of 2011, particularly those related to with the enjoyment of the minimum subsistence, the overcoming of the situation of vulnerability and the integral reparation, in order to guarantee the effective enjoyment of the rights of victims and allowing the survivors of conflict to improve their quality of life.
