Inclusion Week arrived at Popayán prison

Around 175 inmates of this penitentiary center were able to access information that will allow them to know their situation in the Single Registry of Victims, humanitarian aid, compensation, Families in Action, Youth in Action, family support and assistance to minors, among others.

Within the framework of the Week of Inclusion for Equity, the Department of Social Prosperity, the Victims Unit and the Colombian Family Welfare Institute visited the Women's Prison Center of Popayán, in order to provide a varied institutional offer For this population.

On the day, Jimena Lehmann, director of Social Prosperity in Cauca, said that “our entity as head in the inclusion sector, performs these activities where we want women who are here held, can access and enjoy all the benefits that the national government offers to the vulnerable population”.

Around 175 inmates of this prison were able to access information that will allow them to know their situation in the Single Registry of Victims, humanitarian aid, compensation, Families in Action, Youth in Action, family support and assistance to minors, among others.

For his part, the director of the Victims Unit in Cauca, Dan Harry Sánchez Cobo, said that "the development of these days dignifies the value of women in society, in addition to giving us the possibility of delivering tools in the improvement of their life as victims of violence in the territory".
