The Victims Unit will invest more than $ 2 billion in the construction and provision of this new space that will improve the quality of care for Nariño department victims and nearby municipalities.

The director of the Victims Unit, Ramón Rodríguez Andrade, together with the Mayor of Pasto, Pedro Vicente Obando Ordóñez, signed the letter of intent to sign the agreement that will allow the construction of the new headquarters of the Regional Center for Attention Victims of Grass and the central sub region of Nariño.

The project, which has a cost of $ 3,000 million, of which the Unit for Victims will contribute with about 2,523 million and $ 484 million the Mayor's Office of Pasto, has as main objective to gather in a single physical space all the offer of the National Service System and Comprehensive Reparation to Victims (Snariv) to guarantee attention to the citizen and the victim population with a differential approach, focus on rights and psychosocial approach through respect for quality standards, dignified treatment, agile and respectful attention.

For Ramón Rodríguez, director of the Victims Unit, "the commitment for the victims is fundamental and today we are fulfilling those of Nariño, especially those of Pasto. The work that we formalize today has 28 modules where you will find all the offer of attention by the Unit, thus guaranteeing quality care".

For his part, the Mayor of Pasto, Pedro Vicente Obando, said that "this progress is extremely important. It is a project that has a commitment in which we cannot miss any day because our desire is to be able to deliver it this year. You can see that from the Unit they are making a big effort, which I deeply appreciate. We will be very vigilant so that everything goes ahead and we make reality a project that is going to be the project of the year", added the mandatary of Pasto.

With the construction of the Regional Victim Assistance Center, not only will the needs of the residents of the Pasto be met, but also those of the nearby municipalities and, in general, of the entire department, since it is the capital of the department.

The new Regional Center, which will be located in CAM Anganoy, via Los Rosales 2, will have an area of ​​927 m2, which will allow all the entities that are part of Snariv to have a space in this place and so the victims can perform in the same site all their paperwork.
