It produces periodic information on the execution of the public policy of integral attention and reparation to the victims.

It carries out studies, research and analysis of the information of the National Information Network for the Attention and Reparation of Victims, through the application of geographic, qualitative and quantitative methodologies, as well as the use of information and communication technologies.

It establishes criteria and applies methodologies for the characterization of information sources articulated in the National Information Network and proposes models of visualization of the information supply according to the needs of National System of Attention and Integral Reparation to the Victims.

It leads the implementation of strategies aimed at coordinating the National Network of Observatories on Human Rights and International Humanitarian Law, in accordance with that established in the current regulations.

It supports the dissemination of the research and analysis products carried out, in accordance with the communications policy of the entity.

Promotes the support and articulation of the different processes for the realization and production of qualitative research related to the integral attention and reparation to the victims within the entity, in coordination with the editorial committee.

It supports the articulation of the policy of integral attention and reparation to the victims with the integral national policy of Human Rights, to generate the necessary inputs that support the fulfillment of the commitments acquired by the Colombian State within the framework of the Universal Human Rights System and the Inter-American Human Rights System.
