Carlos Arturo Pardo, territorial director of Meta and Llanos, met with the new leaders of Amazonas, Meta and Guaviare departments

In order to make adjustments to the new development plans, the Victims Unit is advancing work tables to determine the actions, guidelines and activities that seek to incorporate the public policy of victims in the territory.

The director of territorial Meta and Llanos, Carlos Arturo Pardo, assured that during the last weeks several work tables have been advanced with the new governors, mayors, deputies, councilors and tables of victims of the departments of Amazonas, Guaviare and Meta “they have been developing a series of exercises that have allowed us to achieve an approach for the first time with the new leaders of the Meta and Llanos Orientales".

He added that "we started this process with National Planning, accompanied by all the institutionality on the part of the territory where the whole plan of intervention of the public policy of victims was given to the 20 mayors of the department of Meta and the governor. In the department of Amazonas, I met with the table of victims, the councilors, the governor and the mayors of Puerto Nariño and Leticia. We also met the four mayors of the department of Guaviare and the governor”.

The official stressed that not only were meetings held with the regional institutions, but also the Military Forces and Police were present at these work tables “they play a very important role in the construction and formulation of Development Plans at the territorial level” added Carlos Pardo.

These meetings according to the territorial director of the Victims Unit have served to make an articulation in the territory

Next week the official announced that he will meet with the governors, mayors, deputies, councilors and tables of victims of the departments of Casanare and Guainia, in order to advance the same exercise for the victims of conflict.
