During the last day of delivery of letters of compensation, the Victims Unit repaired 193 people.
Through the Meta and Llanos Orientales territorial, the Victims Unit delivered 193 letters of compensation for a value of more than 2.200 million pesos, as part of comprehensive reparation to those people who lived through the armed conflict in the country.
During the day, which was held over two days and to which the beneficiaries entered in small groups in order to comply with all the biosafety protocols, the Victims Unit held talks on adequate investment of resources and made the entire offer known institutional. The National Savings Fund also told them about all the services that this entity provides, with the aim that the resources received are well used.
The director of the Unit in Meta and Llanos Orientales, Carlos Arturo Pardo Alezones, stressed that, "as a result of the armed conflict, events occurred that affected the lives of many people, but with the resources provided by the entity the victims will generate those life projects that have been waiting for a long time”.
The Victims Unit hopes to continue compensating the victims of Villavicencio during the next year and comply with comprehensive reparation, which is not only made up of the economic resource that is delivered, but also collective, material, moral and symbolic reparation. with guarantees of non-repetition.
