The Unit delivers this reparative measure to the victim population of several municipalities, in Chocó.

Quibdó, October 30, 2020. In days advanced in recent days, a total of 204 people residing in different municipalities of the department of Chocó, were benefited with the delivery of administrative compensation for being victims of the armed conflict.

These compensations, which add up to more than $ 2.554 million, will help the beneficiary victims to improve their quality of life, according to the talk of adequate investment of resources that suggests appropriate lines for this purpose.

In this regard, Vanessa Palacios, territorial director of the Victims Unit in Chocó, assured that “the national government through this entity fulfills the victims of armed conflict and also provides them with tools to leverage projects that generate stability. for the beneficiaries and their families”.

During the development of the day, the anti-fraud campaign “Don't believe everything you hear” was also announced, aimed at beneficiaries and companions to prevent more people from falling into the trap of false processors who deceive the victim population for personal gain.
