This Friday the Victims Unit will deliver results of the emotional recovery program "Acople"

The 10-year-old project has been led by Heartland Alliance International in Buenaventura and Quibdó, and has provided support to both victims and the human teams of the entities that assist them.

This Friday, October 23, the balance of 10 years of work of Acople (Alliance with Organizations for the Emotional) program of Heartland Alliance International, an ally of the Victims Unit, which has implemented emotional recovery actions with victims in Buenaventura, will be presented. (Valle del Cauca) and Quibdó (Chocó).

The report on the progress of this program in terms of institutional strengthening for the development of capacities in mental health, psychosocial care and emotional care to officials of governmental and non-governmental institutions, civil society organizations, strategic partners, and organizations will also be known.

In the case of the Victims Unit, the support of Acople has been reflected in the territory with the strengthening of the human team of the Subdirectorate of Attention and Emergency Prevention.

In all its programs, Heartland Alliance International promotes approaches to the protection of human rights and gender equity.
