The Victims Unit delivered a supply of computer elements and restaurant supplies within the framework of the accompaniment of returns and relocations, and the initiatives of the Development Programs with a Territorial Approach (PDET), in the Alto and Bajo Jagua de Tumaco hamlets.

Víctor Sevillano, leader of the area and rector of the educational centers, indicated that “this delivery of the computers and everything that has arrived for the school canteen will help us a lot because it was a dream that we had; We have been managing for years and we had not had this opportunity, at this moment we are proud, pleased”.

For his part, Enrique Ardila Franco, Director of Reparation of the Victims Unit, assured that “it is satisfactory for us to reach the territory with this type of deliveries in these PDET municipalities, where we are implementing actions, with an investment of about 160 million pesos in agreement with the International Organization for Migration”.

146 families have benefited from this endowment, which is expected to improve the quality of life of children in rural areas through technological implements and the endowment of the school restaurant.

Ana Milena Castillo, community leader, thanked this delivery on behalf of the boys and girls of her community: “I like the endowment a lot because there are important things like computers, chairs, everything they have given us is very important for the sidewalk and for the children, because they feel more comfortable, it is a blessing, and from now on they will have more knowledge of what the computer is and all that”.

Among the items delivered are computers, video projectors, televisions, fans, refrigerators, industrial stoves, tables, plastic chairs for adults and children, crockery, pots and water tanks, among others.

The delivery was accompanied by the departmental government secretary, Francisco Cerón, the Agency for the Renewal of the Territory and the International Organization for Migration.
