Victims Unit reactivate the repair route of La Malla collective in Cúcuta
La Ermita, Buenos Aires and Camilo Daza neighborhoods, affected by the armed conflict, make up this subject of collective reparation.
Advancing in the diagnosis of the damage within the repair route is the first step to reactivate the process with the members of the committee to promote La Malla Collective Repair Subject.
This was expressed by the deputy director of collective reparation of the Victims Unit, Luz Marina Durán, during her visit to the city of Cúcuta, where she met with the members of the committee to promote this group to draw up the roadmap. “They are empowered women, they already have in their enlistment phase identified what is the objective of the comprehensive collective reparation plan. The objective for 2021 is that we can advance in what has to do with the diagnosis of the damage, it is a great commitment from the Victims Unit to advance with this subject of collective reparation in Norte de Santander”, she explained.
During the day, the community shared experiences with the official, expressed their concerns and suggestions regarding the implementation of the repair processes. “We are happy to have the deputy director in our neighborhoods and the idea is to continue with this subject to rebuild the social network that has been lost here in our community due to so much violence that has been experienced by marginal groups of the law”, said Digna Rosa Ortega, representative of the promotion committee.
For her part, Nidia Suescún, vice president of the community action board of Camilo Daza neighborhood, highlighted the entity's rapprochement and the articulation between the group and the Unit: “A very fruitful visit, we have to take advantage of that fact to send them all the needs that we have as victims and for the collective reparation of our neighborhoods”.
The deputy director of collective reparation of the Victims Unit arrived in Cúcuta to lead the sponsor plan that the entity implements with the territorial directorates where she provided and socialized the biosafety guidelines for the gradual return to the office, likewise, reviewed the progress of missionary processes in Norte de Santander and Arauca.
Finally, Luz Marina Durán led a day of delivery of letters to victims of armed conflict in Cúcuta, a process that has been carried out gradually in Cúcuta, Ocaña and Arauca to guarantee the health of the people affected by the armed conflict and avoid crowds from the same.
