Ronald Villegas, mayor of that municipality, participated in this space, who stressed that this compensation process is of utmost importance for the territory: “I am grateful because there are close to $1.000 million that will favor the economy of the municipality, in addition to providing these people economic relief amid this pandemic".

Luz Ingrid Ágreda, who declares herself to be a survivor of conflict in this territory, said that the economic recognition of her mother is of great help at this critical moment the country is going through, that is why she is going to invest it in improving her home, which it was affected during an explosion. "I believe that this money will be well invested because we will improve our home that was affected by a car bomb, and we will also invest in my mother's health, seeking to improve her quality of life".

For his part, the territorial director of the Victims Unit in Cauca, Dan Harry Sánchez Cobo, affirmed that “the delivery of the letters was carried out for three days with the aim of avoiding crowding and being able to comply with biosecurity protocols. In coordination with the municipal mayor's office and the Civil Defense, attendees were asked to take their temperature, the mandatory use of masks, constant hand washing and a distance of two meters between each one”.
