A total of 38 compensations were delivered in Curumaní, Cesar, in the midst of demanding biosecurity controls, by the Territorial Directorate of the Victims Unit in that region of the country.
"We have come to Curumaní to carry out and materialize the delivery of 38 compensation, always under the sanitary protocol and indicating to our victims the need to conserve and abide by self-care measures", said Víctor Mosquera, territorial director.
The director added: "We are in the municipality of Curumaní fulfilling that commitment of President Iván Duque, to advance in times of pandemic, in the delivery of more than 55.000 compensation to the victims of armed conflict".
The official specified that the day was held "after having exhausted the different delivery strategies through certified mail companies and through the banks".
"It is important to highlight the commitment, support and backing throughout the biosafety and self-care component that our mayor of Curumaní, Henry Chacón, has had, so that the victims can access this component of reparation, which is a government commitment", stressed Mosquera.
