More capitals and municipalities continue to limit face-to-face care to victims
The Unit for Victims suspended services this Tuesday in Antioquia, Córdoba, Magdalena, Nariño, Caquetá, Putumayo, Huila, Bolívar, Vichada and Atlántico.
With regard to the evolution of COVID-19 in Colombia, the Victims Unit decided, in coordination with the territorial entities, to extend the temporary suspension or restriction of the face-to-face service for survivors in centers and points of care in Santa Marta and Plato (Magdalena ); Florencia (Caquetá); Medellín, Apartadó, San Pedro de Urabá, Turbo, Carepa, Chigorodó and Envigado (Antioquia); San Juan Nepomuceno, El Carmen de Bolívar, Magangué and San Jacinto (Bolívar); Soledad and the township of Juan Mina, as well as in the municipalities of Santo Tomás, Sabanalarga, Suán and Malambo (Atlántico); Montería (Córdoba); Policarpa, Ricaurte, Pasto and Ipiales (Nariño); Mocoa, Puerto Asís, Leguízamo, Orito, Sibundoy, Villagarzón, Valle del Guamuez and San Miguel (Putumayo); Neiva and Pitalito (Huila).
Attention will also be restricted starting this March 18, in Soacha, La Palma and Viotá (Cundinamarca), Ibagué, Líbano, Chaparral, Ataco, San Sebastián de Mariquita and Purificación (Tolima), and in Tunja, Sogamoso and Chiquinquirá ( Boyacá).
It was also made official that two regional centers and three points of attention to victims in Arauca, will provide services with some restrictions on the number of people who access the headquarters, as a preventive measure and will have an extra telephone line for their procedures.
The same determination was made in Palmira, Cartago, Buga and Tuluá (Valle del Cauca), where a maximum of 50 people a day will be attended, in shifts not exceeding 10 people in the waiting rooms.
