In three of the four municipalities of the department of Guaviare, the Victims Unit, advances technical assistance in victim law and advocacy in development plans.

With the support of the Norwegian Refugee Council, the Victims Unit has provided technical assistance spaces to train the municipal administrations of Guaviare, on issues such as the law of victims, territorial competences and harmonization of the public policy of victims in the plans developmental.

Likewise, together with the tables of Effective Participation of Victims, documents have been built so that the needs of the surviving population of armed conflict of this territory of the country, are taken into account in the development plans that are still being built in these municipalities; In addition, the Victims Unit has informed them of the protocols for the participation of the tables, the internal regulations that govern them, and the work plans for the proper functioning of the Participation Table.

The territorial director of Meta and Llanos, Carlos Pardo Alezones, stressed that the work articulated together with the participation tables, governorates and municipal administrations allows adequate progress in compliance with Law 1448 of 2011.
