Unit and Army seek alliances to benefit victims belonging to the Public Force
An agreement would be signed to strengthen the inter-institutional articulation that guarantees the effective enjoyment of the rights of members of the military forces, victims of conflict.
The commander of the Joint Transitional Command, Brigadier General Javier Ayala Amaya, met with the General Director of the Victims Unit, Ramón Rodríguez, in order to strengthen the inter-institutional articulation that seeks to guarantee the effective enjoyment of members' rights of the military forces victims of conflict.
In this meeting, issues such as the signing of an agreement that allow joint actions to benefit the victim population, especially those belonging to the Public Force, were raised.
The director general of the entity, Ramón Rodríguez, indicated that "an important work has been done with the survivors of the conflict, responding to the call and impulse given to this issue by the President of the Republic, Iván Duque Márquez."
The director affirmed that the entity that “despite the existence of a special regime for victims of the Public Force, they must be clear together with their families that they will not be abandoned under the law and, on the contrary, they are working on important aspects such as prevention ”.
For his part, General Ayala, indicated that lines were established in order to strengthen inter-institutional relations between the military forces and the Unit to support all those who have registered and invite those who have not done so to stay with The quality of victim.
“It seeks to work not only make the victims visible but also what is established in the Law to guarantee their rights,” he concluded.
