This woman, over 70 years of age, welcomes the resource given by the national government: “This money will help me improve my quality of life and support me, I will buy products to stock the store I have in my house, which is the livelihood of my husband and mine”. Like her, 1,300 victims of armed conflict of municipalities of Antioquia, will receive more than $ 6.7 billion as part of their integral reparation during the month of January and February.

For his part, Wilson Córdoba Mena, director of the Victims Unit in Antioquia, said that “we continue to meet the victims, with the delivery of these resources and we guide the survivors of conflict so they can recover their life projects, they can invest in the best way in productive initiatives, or a collective or individual enterprise with the accompaniment of the institutional offer of the Mayor's Office of Medellín with which efforts can be added”.

In Antioquia, there are already more than 250,000 victims who have benefited from this measure of reparation during the eight years of implementation of Law 1448.
