Strategy of new leaders advances to support the preparation of development plans
With workshops in the territory, new governments are oriented throughout the country, so that the public policy of victims is prioritized and responds to all the needs of the survivors of conflict.
The Unit for the Comprehensive Care and Reparation of Victims, in coordination and coordination with the National Planning Department and the Interior Ministry, advances the strategy of new leaders, in order to prioritize the public policy of victims in their administrations.
The strategy managed to accompany the successful closures of governments with their management reports, the realization of an effective splicing process and an accountability to the citizens about what state it is in and what are the challenges of the territory for the next period of government in 2020, in terms of care and reparation for victims.
Since this month, the National Planning Department, with the participation of the Victims Unit, has carried out departmental days where the Territorial Planning Kit - KTP- is socialized, a tool for the formulation of Development Plans so that they are technically well structured.
This tool will serve the new leaders, among other things, to select the most convenient investment programs and projects in favor of victims, with emphasis on the identification of the main challenges of the territory and the design of strategies to overcome them.
In coordination with the National Planning Department, the strategy of new leaders of the Victims Unit is in phase four, which consists in guiding the incorporation of public policy of victims in development plans. The last phase corresponds to the approval of the territorial action plans that must be carried out between the months of June to August.
The strategy seeks to guarantee the continuity and sustainability of the processes of assistance, care and integral reparation that have been implemented at the territorial level, in order to fulfill the goals established by the National Government in the National Development Plan 2018- -2022 “Pact for Colombia pact for equity”.
According to the national planning department, mayors and governors for the period 2020 - 2023 can already make use of the Territorial Planning Kit for the construction of their Territorial Development Plans.
