In Villavicencio about 480 victims were treated at the National Services Fair
More than 90 state entities joined the fair with its institutional offer for citizens. Updating of data, news in the registry, compensation and humanitarian aid were the main procedures requested by the victims before the entity.

With the participation of 90 entities of the national and territorial order, the third National Citizen Service Fair was developed at Fundadores Park in Villavicencio, a strategy that reaches this region of the country to bring the State's institutional offer to the entire victim population of armed conflict.
For this version, the Victims Unit, through the Citizen Service Group, provided the human, technical and technological resources to attend about 480 victims of conflict from the capital of Meta and surrounding municipalities.
The survivors of conflict agreed to the entire Unit offer; update data, make news in the registry, know the status of their comprehensive repair process, among other procedures and services for free and without intermediaries.
Jacqueline Upegui, survivor of conflict, came to the point of attention to request information on humanitarian aid, was satisfied and highlighted the work of the entity: "They treated me very well, I feel very happy because I could get the necessary information I was looking for".
“It has been a very important day for the Unit, because we managed to serve a significant number of victims. This allows the entity to approach the population with effectiveness and confidence”, said Carlos Pardo Alezones, Territorial Director of the Victims Unit for the Goal and Eastern Plains.
So far in 2019, the entity has managed to serve around two thousand citizens in the fairs held in Aracataca (Magdalena), Valledupar (Cesar) and Villavicencio (Meta).
The next fair will be held in the municipality of Istmina (Chocó), on August 2, where the Unit will be present to attend and assist the victims of conflict.
