In Cali, Valle del Cauca 150 people, including members of indigenous communities, received specialized attention from the Unit for Victims and information on the offer by different entities.

A special day of attention to women victims of crimes against the freedom and sexual integrity in the middle of the conflict was developed in the Regional Center of Attention for Victims of Cali.

The attendants received attention in orientation, documentation, requests and notification, in addition, they had access to the presentation of the offer that is available for the victim population from different entities, such as the Mayor's Office of Cali (Municipal Health Secretariat), the Governor’s office of Valle (Departmental Health Office), the ICBF, Icetex , SENA and the Office of Social Prosperity.

In the same way, private entities such as the Colombian Center for Professional Studies Foundation ( Fcecep ) and the María Auxiliadora technological academic institution were present at the event .

"What we want today is to give them all the guidance and explain the prioritization criteria through which compensation can be accessed. This day has all the components, registration, issues of humanitarian aid and others, "said the general director of the Unit for Victims, Ramón Rodríguez.

Within the framework of this event, and thanks to the management of the entity in the Valle del Cauca, a scholarship was given to begin his academic training at the "Centro Colombiano de Estudios Profesionales" Foundation to Brianyein del RosarioApushaina , victim of the armed conflict Colombian.  

"It is a joy to be able to contribute in some way to the achievement of a dream. In Valley we continue making approaches with different education institutions to achieve benefits for the population that is the victim of the conflict ", said the territorial director of the Unit in Valle, Luz Adriana Toro.
