
Survivors of armed conflict in Casanare received compensation
For a value of 513 million pesos, Casanarean families obtained administrative compensation from the Victims Unit.

In Yopal, Casanare, the Victims' Unit carried out a massive convocation attended by 78 people prioritized for being over 74 years of age or with disabilities, to receive their letters of administrative compensation, as financial compensation for the violent acts suffered.
In this installment, the survivors received anti-fraud orientation to avoid being deceived by unscrupulous people seeking benefits. Likewise, extensive advice for the proper use of resources offered by Banco Agrario and Colpensiones informed them about the savings program for the elderly.
Aura Alicia Marín Vergara, victim of forced displacement of Maní- Casanare municipality, said that she will invest the resource received in fixing her house since "she is falling apart" and, in addition, she will be able to undergo surgery on her knee, which had postponed due to economic issues.
This administrative compensation is given to victims included in the single registry of victims (RUV), for events such as displacement, attacks, terrorist acts, combats, harassment and / or personal accidents suffered with antipersonnel mines, among others.
Carlos Arturo Pardo Alezones, territorial director Meta and Llanos Orientales, stressed that the delivery of this resource amounted to 513 million pesos.
