41 people victims of armed conflict received their letters of compensation in Santander
The figure delivered in total is close to $ 240 million.
The Victims Unit territorial direction of Santander, delivered 41 letters of compensation for more than $ 240 million to victims of conflict, which will contribute to the reconstruction of lives of these people, who will invest in the dream of a house own, improvement of housing and productive projects, for a new beginning.
This was expressed by Jorge Eliécer Almeida, beneficiary: "I am happy for your help and thanks to the man that we were able to succeed and we won the goal, I am very grateful, I am going to start a business, or I will invest in housing and there start again".
As of the date and in the year 2019, the territorial Santander has delivered 166 letters of compensation and this work will continue throughout the department.
"With our work team we have delivered 41 letters in the department, some deliveries were made in the city of Bucaramanga and others in the municipality of Barbosa, with the purpose of facilitating the reception to the people of the province that do not count with the resource or cannot move to the city, "said the Santander Unit territorial director, Gonzalo García Bautista.
In addition to the delivery and in compliance with the commitment that is had as a Unit for Victims, with each beneficiary of the deliveries, guidance and approach was provided, of institutional offer for the adequate investment of resources, as indicated by Dennis Zúñiga Alba, professional the entity who pointed out that "for the sake of compliance with article 134 of Law 1448 of 2011 we were able to provide this support to our victims who received these resources today as administrative compensation, we could count on the support of some institutional entities such as the National Savings Fund, Ministry of Housing of the Department and Housing Secretariat of the Municipality of Bucaramanga, with the purpose that our victims can make a correct investment of these resources".
