The department of Boyacá currently has 43,836 registered victims, of which 34,171 are subject to care, according to the single registry of victims; to date, the Victims Unit has invested nearly 45 billion pesos in indemnities, humanitarian aid and social and community infrastructure projects in the department.

The municipality of Aquitaine with a victim population of 611 people has had an investment of 398 million pesos, resources allocated to compensation and humanitarian aid.

The General Director of Victims Unit Ramón Rodriguez, in recent weeks participated in two territorial committees where the Territorial Action Plan 2019 was approved for the department of Boyacá and it was announced by the Government that in this month of March they will deliver the facilities for the operation of the point of attention to victims of armed conflict in the city of Tunja.

The head of entity, informed in the framework of the workshop building country, that in March there will be 223 drafts for $ 128 million pesos for Humanitarian Attention in the department of Boyacá, of which 36 drafts worth $ 23 million in Tunja and 2 turns for the municipality of Aquitaine.

In this month, 25 administrative indemnities worth $ 186 million will be delivered in Boyacá department, of which 8 remittances worth $ 41 million correspond to Tunja.

The Victims Unit will continue its support and investment in the department of Boyacá where last year it made a support with materials and furniture for Projects of Social and Community Infrastructure to the municipality of Chiquinquirá, also with the Endowment of furniture for the educational institutions of the municipality by value close to $ 230 million pesos.

During 2018, the execution of 3 productive projects was initiated for an amount exceeding $ 4,945 million pesos (contribution from the Unit close to $ 2,475 million) "Implementation of productive initiatives as a source of income generation for families affected by armed conflict of the municipalities of Pauna, Briceño and Muzo ", benefiting 220 families with an investment of $ 1,447 million pesos (contribution of the Unit close to $ 1,230 million)

Support was also given to the implementation of productive income generating units for the families of armed conflict in the Department of Boyacá (Chita, San José de Pare, Pisba, Labranzagrande, Duitama, Tota, Beteitiva, Paez, Santana and the Department) ", Benefiting 286 families with an investment of more than $ 2,059 million pesos (contribution of the Unit close to $$ 1,424 million) and Support in the component of income generation and integral attention to the population victim of armed conflict of the municipalities of Almeida, Chivor, Garagoa, Guayatá, Macanal, benefiting 186 families with an investment close to $ 1,439 million pesos (contribution of the Unit $ 1,050 million).
