Yolanda Pinto de Gaviria, national director of Victims Unit, was present at the delivery of these works of social and community infrastructure in the two Santander municipalities.

Two footprint plaques of 500 meters each were delivered as social and community infrastructure works in Santander, by the Victims Unit and the municipal administrations in Santa Helena del Opón and San Gil (San Pedro district).

The closing acts of projects were attended by Yolanda Pinto de Gaviria, national director of Unit and Martha Cecilia Guarín Lizcano, territorial director of entity in Santander, who together with mayors and community in general formalized the delivery of the works already finished.

"We are doing these works within the framework of Victims Law as a measure of prevention and guarantee of non-repetition, it is a work in the path of reparation for victims of armed conflict in Colombia," Yolanda Pinto told the survivors of conflict in San Gil.

The Unit delivered the materials of works and the municipal administrations, along with the community, put the workforce.

Fernando Rojas Rodríguez, San Gil mayor, expressed his gratitude: "these are the things that satisfy us, we thank Dr. Yolanda Pinto, who was born in Sangil: thank you for that commitment to your land and through the Unit, with whom we have been working hand in hand, also with productive projects in the future ".

In Santa Helena del Opón, the closing ceremony of project "Plate footprint in Los Mandarinos sector" was carried out, work developed on the main road, which benefits the entire population and solves the problem of closing the road in the rainy season.
