Revive community stores in EL TRES village
These traditional stores were a means of economic support for three paths of the subject of collective reparation EL TRES, in Urabá region, and had disappeared because of violence. They were given endowments to revive them in the paths of Monte Verde 1, La Esperanza and Claudia María, as a measure of collective reparation.

In the facilities of EL TRES school, the Victims Unit provided endowments, perishable and non-perishable goods for the restoration of community stores to the subject of collective reparation EL TRES, as a measure of Comprehensive Collective Repair Plan.
This is a peasant community that belongs to Turbo municipality, department of Antioquia, which began in 2014 the process of collective reparation for restoration of rights violated during the armed conflict and after constructing the Plan in a concerted manner, they approved it in 2016.
In the delivery of endowments was present the territorial director of Unit in Urabá Darién, Elizabeth Granada Ríos. Metal shelves, fans, scales, food and other materials, necessary to build a store, were the elements given to revive the community stores and restore the assets and productive forms affected by the violations of rights of these communities.
The community stores go back to the 90's when banana workers took the initiative to create a fund to develop these places where they procured goods that would be acquired more easily, by their location and by the prices that favored the inhabitants.
These forms of support for the sidewalks declined and disappeared due to homicides and other abuses committed by armed actors, which caused displacement, fear and distrust.
"It means a lot for us to revive these stores, this is a great boost, a great advance for our families economy that make up our community," said Luis Hernán Higuita, representative of the Impulse Committee.
The territorial director highlighted the importance of stores: "today is a very important day for all of you, you receive this measure that consists in restoring and strengthening the community stores for these three paths that are part of subject of collective reparation; We hope they are used by the whole community. "
As a complement to the donations delivered, this week, the community will receive training in entrepreneurship and business development by SENA, with the aim of leaving an installed capacity, which guides and reinforces knowledge for good management and common benefit of stores and other Projects.
