Victims of the conflict in La Dorada (Caldas department) will benefit from this center run by the Victims Unit.

After almost four years in La Dorada, the Victims Unit and the Mayor’s Office joined efforts to provide a better attention to the victims of the internal armed conflict. Therefore, the Unit moved all the equipment to the modern new office, located in the second floor of Dorada Plaza, a downtown mall.

‘The joint efforts made by the Victims Unit and the local administration confirms that our mandataries are really interested in providing comfort and guarantees to this population,’ said Omar Toro Sánchez, Unit’s territorial director in the region known as Eje Cafetero.

Between 60 and 70 victims are expected to received daily attention, so as they can solve their doubts about registration, documentation, compensation, and other institutional services.
