Unscrupulous people are using the name of the Unit to call political meetings to the inhabitants of different hamlets in Leiva.

The Victims Unit, Nariño Territorial Directorate, reports that unscrupulous people are using the entity's name to invite a forum with political candidates in the department of Nariño.

The Unit for Comprehensive Attention and Reparation for Victims, clarifies that, in coordination with the National Planning Department and the Ministry of Interior, is developing the Government Closure Strategy and New Representatives, however, this type of scenarios are not part of that strategy.

• The Victims Unit has no link with a political party or candidate, nor does it organize political meetings of any kind.

• The Victims Unit does not have this type of staff that receives personal data and information in villages and towns of Nariño.

• All procedures must be carried out in the Centers and Victim Assistance Points of the department.

• All procedures are free and without intermediaries, avoid seeking help from unscrupulous people who pretend to be officials of the entity.
