The Unit and High Commissioner of Peace promote Future Zones in Córdoba
The Territorial Director of the Victims Unit, Mareila Burgos, confirmed that they worked with the High Commissioner of Peace, Miguel Ceballos, so that the entity's offer can support numerous citizens in remote areas of this department.

The Unit for the Territorial Victims Córdoba and the Office of the High Commissioner of Peace, Miguel Ceballos, carried out work to articulate different activities that will allow the promotion of Future Zones in the municipalities of that department.
This was confirmed by Mareila Burgos, territorial director, who explained that they already had “an articulation meeting with the High Commissioner for Peace, to talk about Future Zones that are going to start working in Córdoba”.
“The Future Zones are located in four municipalities of the department: Montelíbano, Tierralta, San José de Uré and Puerto Libertador, and we were with Commissioner Ceballos reviewing all the offer that we have of the Victims Comprehensive Attention and Repair Unit to see how it is targeted in these regions where they are going to do the specific interventions”, Burgos explained.
He also said that the Future Zones are spaces where the State's articulation will be concentrated and the stabilization will resume. "It is expected that it is not only a matter of security presence, but that all the institutions are there and that we can have all the offer to reach all these paths where you almost never arrive as a State", he said.
“We would be articulating directly with the Office of the High Commissioner for Peace, reviewing our projects through the area of Returns and Relocations and we can work with the Military Notebook, with their support. We will also work on the projects we have in the area of prevention and emergencies”, he emphasized.
