The National Unit for Victims, the Government of Canada and the Plan International Foundation, together with children, develop the "Leading for Peace" project, with the aim of providing participants with tools to exercise their rights and build Reconciliation scenarios in the departments of: Chocó, Valle del Cauca and Nariño.

"These workshops are interesting because they help us clear our minds, train us and know how to invest and not waste money; I would like all young people to participate in this program as it will really help us to be better people in the future, "said Darwin Mosquera Castro, a young participant in the project.

Since 2016, "Leading by Peace" has allowed children and adolescents victims of armed conflict to live their rights with a differential approach, and has also brought the offer of State institutions to these territories, providing quality service and strengthening the care environments and savings opportunities that contribute to a better quality of life.

María del Rosario Palacios Córdoba, Territorial Director of Chocó, adds that: "The project has been an oasis for Chocoano children and youth seeking to alternate free spaces with activities that project their future and allow the enjoyment of their rights according to the institutional offer".
