Young victims of Huila participated in the forum "Virtual education and the possibilities of inclusion"
In the event led by the Victims Unit and the Department for Social Prosperity, 30 young people from the fiduciary commission process participated, who are about to finish their high school studies.
The territorial direction of the Unit for Caquetá-Huila Victims, developed in the hands of the Department for Social Prosperity and other institutions, the forum called "Virtual Education and the possibilities of inclusion", as one of the activities of the Week of the Inclusion for Equity held in Colombia.
In the fórum, in which 30 young people belonging to the fiduciary commission process, who are about to finish their secondary studies participated. Yhina Paola Lombana, director of the territorial unit in Caquetá and Huila, pointed out that the current time allows the elimination of barriers that impede the effective exercise of rights, in this case, to inclusive education”.
The young participants had the opportunity to see first-hand the institutional offer of the National Learning Service (SENA) in educational and labor matters for the year 2021 and were satisfied with the day.
“We can ensure that, with the support of entities such as SENA, through the use of ICT, young people can take their educational processes forward, taking into account that the instructors are qualified and that they have a series of virtual tools that bring students closer to knowledge”, noted Lombana.
The event was accompanied by the regional director of Social Prosperity in Huila, Dora María Artunduaga, who thanked the Unit for being linked to these spaces that allow us to envision a more inclusive and equitable Colombia.
“This year calls to act together to achieve social and environmental justice for all people, Social Prosperity dedicates all this week, to discuss the challenges left by the emergency, added to the historical challenges to achieve inclusion, build equity and achieve justice social”, stressed Artunduaga.
The Victims Unit is linked to Inclusion Week with various activities throughout the national territory.
