Virtual mass workshops for victim care begin in Antioquia, Anorí
In order to guarantee access to the measures contemplated in the Victims Law, the Unit will hold virtual workshops in various municipalities of this department.
During three days, 490 victims of Anorí will be attended to in a virtual way by the Victims Unit, in order to guide and advise them in a personalized way on their individual case of comprehensive reparation.
This is a strategy that seeks to extend and reach in a more timely manner homes and people who are included in the Single Registry of Victims, but due to the current situation of the pandemic, have not had the means to access information of the entity.
“Despite the health emergency situation, we continue to attend to the victims of department, this time in a virtual personalized way; Thanks to the articulation of the Victims Unit with municipal administrations, these strategies that benefit the victim population in the territories can be carried out", said Wilson Córdoba, director of the Victims Unit in Antioquia.
The official also said that "progress will be made on the documentation and characterization of the situation of these families affected by the conflict and access to the individual route of reparation, which facilitates measures ranging from humanitarian assistance, emotional recovery and financial compensation”.
The following virtual conference will be held with the victims of Amalfi on July 22, 23 and 24 and the population affected by the armed conflict in the municipality of Dabeiba will also be contacted on July 29, 30 and 31.
During the second semester of the year, the Victims Unit in Antioquia plans to carry out a total of 20 virtual mass days.
