Taking into account the disagreement that some people have expressed in recent days to different regional media in Putumayo, who assure that the Unit has not given them a solution regarding their housing projects, the entity clarifies the following:

The mission of the Unit does not correspond to the allocation of housing subsidies or the realization of constructions.

In 2018, the Victims Unit provided a database of the victim population to the Ministry of Housing so that people could access housing subsidies.

The Ministry of Agriculture, through Sociedad Fiduciaria de Desarrollo Agropecuario (Fiduagraria), entered into a contract with San Rafael construction company in September 2018 for two years, to build 184 homes in lThe municipalities of La Hormiga, San Miguel and Mocoa, but apparently the construction company is experiencing delays with the delivery of some of these homes, which has caused the inconvenience.

Finally, the territorial director of the Victims Unit in Putumayo, Germán Narváez, stressed "the entity's commitment to the victim population, so in the search to provide a prompt solution to this situation, we are managing the articulation between the different parties involved in this case such as the Ministry of Agriculture, Fiduagraria, Constructora San Rafael, the Mayor's Office of Mocoa, the Government of Putumayo and leaders of the affected communities in order to continue giving an effective guarantee of their rights".
