The Unit has delivered 95.513 administrative compensation to 92.981 victims, in the midst of the pandemic

According to a report by the entity, with a cutoff of November 30, it has also made 528,195 money transfers to homes victims of forced displacement for a value close to $ 324.000 million.

Since the State of economic, social and ecological emergency was decreed due to COVID-19, the Victims Unit reported that it has recognized 95.513 administrative compensation to 92.981 victims for a value of 763.785.329.228. These compensations have benefited people who meet the requirements to obtain this measure of reparation and present situations of manifest urgency or extreme vulnerability due to age (over 74 years), disability or orphan, ruinous, catastrophic or high-cost diseases.

Regarding the payment of Humanitarian Assistance, the unit has made 528.195 money transfers to homes victims of forced displacement for a value of $ 323.931.388.000, between March 17 and November 30.

The new balance of the Victims Unit revealed that in execution of the 1957 agreement of 2019 with the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), from June 8, the characterization of needs of victims in Ecuador and Panama affected by the global emergency situation began. As of November 20, 376 cash grants have been approved with an estimated amount of $ 70.520.

The entity has also delivered 48.080 food kits in 29 departments to solve the effects of compulsory isolation in the population victim of the armed conflict.

Finally, the entity reported that since March 17, 1.178 money orders of humanitarian aid have been delivered to victims for acts of victimization other than forced displacement, for a value of $ 2.045.719.840.
