The Casanare Headquarters for the Victims Unit closed August with a positive balance on the strategy of attention through non-face-to-face channels, arranged in the framework of the covid-19 pandemic.

According to the records, during the past month the Unit guided 2,652 victims of conflict in their processes of reparation, humanitarian aid and verification of requests, through the email servicioalciudadano@unidadvictimas.gov.co and the cell phone lines 3232266939, from Yopal; 312 356 2230, Paz de Ariporo, and 320 454 0926, to the south of Casanare.

The territorial director of the Unit in Meta and Llanos Orientales, Carlos Pardo Alezones, said that the figure is within the average number of services that had been carried out in person in the department before the pandemic, and stressed that the most important thing is that this new strategy has made it possible to preserve the health of the victims and of the officials who work at the points of care.

It is noteworthy that to guarantee this service during the isolation period, the Unit has had other channels such as the national hotline 018000911119; the line (+51) 4261111; SMS chat from any cell phone to the code 87305, and chat and video calls from Monday to Friday, from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm through the official website www.unidadvictimas.gov.co.

Likewise, the PQR-ROC services, guardianships, verbal membership processes, remedies for replacement and administrative offices, are processed through the citizen service email and notificaciones.juridicauariv@unidadvictimas.gov.co.
