Special attention day for military victims of conflict
On August 12 and 13, the National Army will hold the service day for military victims of conflict and their families.
The Victim Assistance and Reparation Unit organized a registration and characterization day that will take place on August 12 and 13, in the Ayacucho auditorium of the Córdoba Battalion, so that the military victims and their families can present their declaration as victims of armed conflict before the Ombudsman's Office.
Subsequently, in accordance with the legal procedure, the Victims Unit will assess the declarations and decide whether or not to include such persons in the Unique Victims Registry, so that they may or may not receive the benefits granted by Law 1448 of 2011.
SENA will also participate in the conference, which will conduct an academic registration day so that interested participants can have free access to training programs in areas such as: doll shop and Christmas arrangements (basic), making Wayuu backpacks, bakery, cooking, handling of food, handling of computer tools, among other programs.
The Córdoba Battalion is the headquarters of the First Division of the National Army. The day will be held both days from 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
