Service capacity is expanded at Pasto Victims Assistance Point
The Victims Unit makes improvements with the purpose of guaranteeing the quality of care for the survivors of armed conflict in Pasto and the surrounding municipalities.

Taking into account that the point of attention of the Nariño capital receives not only the victims of Pasto but also other municipalities, the Victims Unit increased its staff by having new counselors at the service of the survivors of armed conflict in this area.
Previously, the delivery of shifts was made only at 6:45 am, which made it difficult for people from other municipalities to arrive in time to be treated, now, it is also done at 10 am, allowing more victims to access at their service through priority, agile and general attention.
In the same way, the Victims Unit together with the Mayor's Office of Pasto, made the installation of the suggestion box, with the aim of knowing the users' perception of the attention received in this place, through complaints, requests, or claims, and in this way guarantee the attention to the citizen and the victim population through respect for quality standards, dignified treatment, agile and respectful attention.
For the director of the Unit in Nariño, William Pinzón, “these improvements in the point of attention are a sign of the entity's commitment to the victims of Nariño department; Thus, with more staff, we expect to serve up to 400 people daily, who will receive the appropriate information, and the attention they deserve. Now we have two shifts delivery schedules that are granted with the ID number, to avoid some kind of inconvenience and we also have the suggestion box that allows us to listen to the victim's voice and thus make continuous improvement processes, In addition, we will be constantly reiterating our Anti-Fraud Campaign "Do not believe stories" so that everyone takes into account the transparency with which we want to carry out each process", he said.
Currently, the Victims Unit is progressing in the construction of the new Regional Center for Victim Assistance, which will be located in CAM Anganoy, via Los Rosales 2, and will have an extension of 927 m2, which will allow all entities that are part of Snariv have a space in this place and in this way the survivors of conflict in this region can carry out all their procedures in the same place.
