The Regional Center for Attention to Victims of Cartagena will be inaugurated, in September
The facilities, with 1.035 square meters, will have 30 care modules, 11 offices for the institutional offer, an auditorium, a toy library, a cafeteria and an infirmary. The resources were provided by the Unit for Victims and the Government of Bolívar.
The territorial director of the Victims Unit in Bolívar and San Andrés, Miledy Galeano Paz, together with officials from the Government of Bolívar and the Mayor's Office of Cartagena, made an inspection tour of the new facilities of the Regional Center for Attention to Victims ( CRAV), which will operate in the District and will be inaugurated next month.
The first CRAV of Bolívar, located on La Cordialidad road at the height of “Fulgencio Segrera” fairgrounds, has the capacity to serve the more than 100,000 victims of Cartagena and surrounding municipalities, and will have 30 service modules, 11 offices for the institutional offer, auditorium, toy library, workshop, playground, cafeteria and infirmary.
"During the tour, the officials were shown the space and the institutional offer that will be offered there was explained, to guarantee the victims of conflict for their care, assistance and reparation", said the territorial director.
The invested resources exceed the 3.600 million pesos contributed by the Victims Unit and the departmental government.
The inauguration is scheduled for the beginning of September by the general director of the Victims Unit, Ramón Rodríguez Andrade; the Governor of Bolívar, Vicente Blel, and the Mayor of Cartagena, William Dau.
