During the pandemic, the Unit has delivered 587,736 money orders to forced displacement victims’ households
According to a February 15th report, the entity also delivered 1,240 Humanitarian Aid transfers for other victimization acts besides forced displacement.
Since the Economic, Social and Ecological Emergency State was decreed due to Covid-19, the Unit for the Victims reported that from March 17th, 2020, and February 12th, 2021, it made 587,736 money transfers to forced displacement victims’ households for $353’936,929,000 COP.
Regarding individual reparation, to date, the Unit has recognized 102,558 administrative compensation to 99,322 victims worth of $824'739,459,664 COP.
These compensations have benefited people who meet requirements to get this reparation measure. They present manifest urgency or extreme vulnerability situations due to age (over 74 years), disability or orphan, ruinous, catastrophic or high-cost diseases.
The Unit has also delivered 48,080 feeding kits in 29 departments to solve the effects of the armed conflict victims’ population compulsory isolation.
The Unit’s report revealed that, in execution of the 1957 Agreement of 2019 with the Norwegian Refugee Council (NRC), from June 8th, 2020, it began to characterize the needs of victims affected by the world emergency in Ecuador and Panama. By December 31st, 2020, 570 cash supports have been approved with an estimated amount of $76,000 COP.
Finally, the entity stated that, since March 17th, 2020, 1,240 transfers of Humanitarian Aid have been delivered for other victimization acts besides forced displacement worth of $2,150,654,593 COP.
