Last Wednesday, the return and resettlement plan of San Juan Nepomuceno (Bolívar department) was approved during the municipal committee of transitional justice that took place in the mayor’s office. The meeting was organized by the Victims Unit, in coordination with Redepaz, the participation roundtable of victims, and the support of the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation (AECID).

The approval of this important plan had as a framework a project for the community and organizational strengthening of those victims who are willing to return or be resettled, in order to identify collective plans and the peace building processes in the territories.

‘The victims’ roundtables and the communities are the ones to give this plan a sense, and they keep on promoting their implementation with the institutions,’ said Arturo Zea Solano, Victims Unit’s territorial director in Bolívar.
