With seedlings in different sectors of city and a sports and cultural event for Peace and Memory of Victims, will be commemorated on April 9 in the capital of Nariño.

Article 142 of Law 1448 of 2011 establishes that "on April 9 of each year the Day of Memory and Solidarity with the Victims will be celebrated and will be held by the Colombian State, memory events and recognition of the events that have taken place victimized the Colombians ".

The process of integral reparation to victims of armed conflict has contributed to the survivors becoming active subjects for the local, national and in some cases international economies, promoting the development of productive goods and services in a new relationship with their social resources. and natural Many victims have created ventures that have been woven around a seal of unity, allowing this population to progress, even though one day the violence wanted to stop them.

For the commemoration of this important date, the Table of Effective Participation of Victims of Pasto Municipality, has proposed this year the realization of two activities:

1. Voices for Peace and Memory of Victims (Tuesday, April 9). With this activity, the existence of our participation table will be made visible, making brief sittings in different strategic places of the city, with messages commensurate with this commemoration.

The members of the Municipal Victims' Table will participate, plus public officials who want to accompany us.

2. Sports and cultural event for Peace and Memory of  Victims (Sunday, April 28 - tentative date).

This activity will allow us to visit two representative places of the victim population of  Pasto municipality:

a.- Towers of Nueva Sindagua: Citizen dialogue with the victims of this place, delivery of 3 commemorative plaques and sports event.

b.- Towers of San Luis and San Sebastián: A cultural activity will be carried out, made in the key of historical memory.

Every achievement on the road to reparation for the victims of conflict is a step towards building the country we want.
