Ethnic and cultural reunion with local victims
With a ritual of spiritual harmony and cleanliness, victims living in Bogota commemorated the National Day of Memory and Solidarity with Victims.

During an event organized by the High Council for the Rights of Victims, Peace and Reconciliation of the District, survivors from all corners of the country participated in an event commemorating the victims which took place in the District Council.
The day of commemoration began with a ritual of spiritual harmony and cleanliness with which the victims living in Bogota commemorated their day. About this ritual Victor Jaime Tandioy, indigenous leader of the Inga people of Putumayo said that "today we did a ritual, a harmonization with the spirit of continuing in that strength, in that struggle, with the desire and with the strength to continue forward so that all the actions that the national government has for us victims in this case are really reidentified".
The day was also accompanied by cultural and musical activities, typical of different regions of the country.
The attending victims sent several messages of support and solidarity in their day. Alba Hurtado, victim of the Misak people in Nariño, assured that "on this day I ask for peace for all victims, peace and reconciliation for the whole country." While Yalile Quiñónez, who is displaced from El Charco, Nariño, asked the district government for the necessary support to be able to live in Bogotá.
The Victims Unit accompanied and supported the District Board with 375 refreshments for those attending the event.
After the Bogota Council, the victims mobilized in a peaceful demonstration to the Plaza de Bolívar, in the center of the city.
