The Unit for the Reparation of Victims supports activities in prioritized municipalities of the region such as Medellin, Vigía del Fuerte, Remedios, Segovia and Machuca tonwship.

With theater plays, eucharist, forums and reparations, the commemorations of the National Day of Memory and Solidarity with Victims in several Antioquia municipalities began in advance.

One of the first municipalities to commemorate this date was Rionegro, where the forum was held by Victims and their Rights, with the assistance of representatives of the departmental and municipal tables of participation of victims and entities with co-responsibility in their care, such as the mayor's office, and the Unit for Comprehensive Care and Reparation for Victims.

In Sabaneta, a day was held that included the socialization of the projects developed by the mayor's office and the legal status in favor of social inclusion, including the need for greater participation and advocacy at the municipal victims' committee that is elected this year.

A play was also presented, alluding to the victimizing facts and the resilience of survivors of  conflict, who in the end enjoyed a musical presentation and playful activities.

In Campamento town, a symbolic act was held in charge of the local victims' table and a religious ceremony.

The director of Unit in Antioquia, Wilson Cordoba Mena, stressed that "the National Day of Memory and Solidarity with Victims is celebrated on April 9 from 2012 as a measure of satisfaction of comprehensive reparation that contributes to dignity of victims and to repair the moral and immaterial damages ".

Tomorrow, the unit supports the logistics of commemorative activities in the priority municipalities of attention such as Medellín, Vigía del Fuerte, Remedios, Segovia and Machuca tonwship, with symbolic acts, talks about the achievements and challenges of the Victims Law for their attention and repair.
